Hear this engaging session where Boston Scientific Cardiac Rhythm Management Chief Medical Officer Kenneth Stein, M.D. talks with Dr. Suneet Mittal (Director of Electrophysiology; Medical Director of The Snyder Center for Comprehensive Atrial Fibrillation; Director of Cardiac Research at Valley Health System, NJ) and Elizabeth Davenport (Nurse Manager SHVI Cardiac Device Clinics at Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute Atrium Health) to get their current perspectives on Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM) arrythmia monitoring during the COVID-19 pandemic and how they are currently navigating these challenges.  Dr. Stein also explores with them their hopes and expectations for ICM technological advancements to come (including remote programming) and how they might incorporate such advancements to address their current concerns.  Further, they discuss what these advancements may mean to their clinical practice and patient care during COVID-19 and beyond.  Finally, we conclude with a quick overview of these advancements in an introduction to the new LUX-Dx™ ICM System.
