AV Block: Old and New Observations
AV Block: Old and New Observations
Description
A 4 talk session highlighting old (but poorly understood) and new findings in AV block, including areas of high therapeutic interest.
Learning Objectives
Identify and differentiate vagally induced AV block from adenosine induced AV block
Describe the different mechanisms of multilevel AV block, both benign (ie AV nodal level with rapid atrial tachycardias) vs malignant (infranodal at lower rates)
Outline an efficient algorithm for rapid detection, and expeditious treatment of AV block after TAVR
Session Chair(s)
Edmond Cronin, MBChB
Emily Ong, MD
