AV Block: Old and New Observations
Description
A 4 talk session highlighting old (but poorly understood) and new findings in AV block, including areas of high therapeutic interest.
Learning Objectives
  • Identify and differentiate vagally induced AV block from adenosine induced AV block
  • Describe the different mechanisms of multilevel AV block, both benign (ie AV nodal level with rapid atrial tachycardias) vs malignant (infranodal at lower rates)
  • Outline an efficient algorithm for rapid detection, and expeditious treatment of AV block after TAVR
Session Chair(s)
Edmond Cronin, MBChB
Emily Ong, MD
