Achieving Excellence in Atrial Fibrillation Patient Care
Description
This session will be discussing various areas to achieve excellence in delivering care to patients with atrial fibrillation. It will discuss awareness of atrial fibrillation, identifying and providing resources to address modifiable risk factors, advancements in the management of atrial fibrillation and including patients in a shared decision making process.
Learning Objectives
  • Translate emerging research evidence to excellence in clinical practice for patients with atrial fibrillation.
  • Identify major advances in key areas of atrial fibrillation patient management.
  • Identify strategies for risk assessment to improve use of anticoagulant therapy for appropriate patients with atrial fibrillation.
