Basic Mechanisms and Effects of Pulsed Field Ablation
Description
This session will review effects of different PFA delivery, present the most contemporary mechanism(s) of PFA myocardial injury and revise beneficial and detrimental effects of myocardial and non-myocardial tissues.
Learning Objectives
Summarize the mechanisms of myocardial cell injury from electroporation with PFA.
Describe differences in injury between myocardial and non-myocardial tissue.
Review beneficial effects of different PFA delivery protocols and future applications.
