Session to touch on cardiac implantable device use in the developing world, in light of constrained resources.
Learning Objectives
Identify and articulate the key barriers to accessing pacemaker and ICD therapies in low-resource settings, including financial, infrastructural, and cultural challenges.
Develop strategies for implementing sustainable device programs
Evaluate innovative approaches and emerging technologies that can make pacemaker and ICD therapies more affordable and accessible in developing regions.
