Electrical Management of the Cardiomyopathies: Amyloidosis, ARVC & DSP Cardiomyopathies, Sarcoidosis, and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
Description
The goal of this session is to provide an overview on the predominant arrhythmias and management approaches for the various cardiomyopathies. In particular, there will be review of guidelines-based recommendations for ablation and appropriate device selection. Discussion will be case-based--highlighting how to approach diagnosis, work-up, and make specific treatment recommendations through case examples.
Learning Objectives
  • Evaluate the incidence and type of arrhythmias in different cardiomyopathy populations.
  • Summarize the use and evidence for ablation in the treatment of arrhythmias in cardiomyopathy.
  • Outline the use and evidence for specific device-selection in cardiomyopathy.
