HRS Health Equity Abstracts Award Session
Description
This session highlights 5 selected abstracts on disparities in cardiac care, focusing on gender, geography, and social determinants of health. Topics include trends in device utilization, diagnosis-to-ablation times, and sex-based differences in atrial fibrillation outcomes, with insights from real-world and nationwide data. Presentations will be judged and recognized for their work.
Learning Objectives
  • Describe sex differences and disparities in heart rhythm care.
  • Summarize ablation targets and outcomes by sex.
  • Review the association between SDOH and time from diagnosis to ablation of AF.
Session Chair(s)
Camille Frazier-Mills, MD, MHS
Jonathan Hsu, MD
