How to Approach Conduction System Pacing
How to Approach Conduction System Pacing
Description
This session will provide an in-depth exploration of conduction system pacing, focusing on practical techniques and strategies to optimize patient outcomes. Attendees will gain insights into the nuances of implanting stylet-driven versus lumenless conduction system leads, including tips for successful procedures and avoiding common pitfalls. The session will also cover how to effectively address challenges and complications that may arise during lead implantation.
Additionally, the session will discuss advanced pacing techniques, such as when and how to perform His-Optimized CRT (HOT-CRT) and Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing Optimized CRT (LOT-CRT), helping clinicians to make informed decisions for complex cases. Finally, the session will offer a guide on troubleshooting the programming of conduction system pacing, ensuring reliable and effective pacing performance.
Learning Objectives
Differentiate between stylet-driven and lumenless conduction system leads, and identify the technical aspects and procedural considerations for successful implantation.
Recognize common challenges and complications during conduction system pacing lead implantation, and apply effective strategies to manage these issues.
Determine the appropriate use of His-Optimized CRT (HOT-CRT) and Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing Optimized CRT (LOT-CRT), and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and optimize pacing programming for effective therapy.
