Description
This session is intended to illuminate the challenges APs face daily when MRIs are ordered for patients with cardiovascular devices. Highlight present guidelines and the on-going work HRS leadership is doing in addressing barriers affecting patient care in this patient population; including mention of task force assembled to address present workflows.
Learning Objectives
Elucidate current MRI and CIEDs guidelines.
Describe workflows in our current institutions.
Engage in meaningful conversations with APs dealing with difficult workflows for patients with CIEDs.
