Pulsed Field Ablation for the Treatment of AF: Safety and Efficacy of Posterior Wall Isolation and Linear Ablation
Description
This session will include presentations of pulse field ablation for linear lesions and posterior wall isolation.
Learning Objectives
  • Describe the risks vs benefits associated with the use of PFA for posterior wall isolation and linear ablation.
  • Revise the recently available data on catheter ablation strategies using PFA technologies outside the pulmonary veins.
  • Evaluate the added benefit of substrate ablation in addition to pulmonary vein isolation for the treatment of AF.
Session Chair(s)
Vidal Essebag, MD, PhD
