Robotics and Automation in Catheter Ablation (Joint Session) (non-ACE)

Description

This session will present updates and allow discussion regarding the use of robotics for navigation and ablation in EP procedures.

A joint session with Society For Cardiac Robotic Navigation (SCRN).

Learning Objectives

Develop an understanding of the current role of robotics and automation in electrophysiology, including recent trials and publications and what has evolved since the joint HRS/SCRN session at HRS 2024. This includes updates on publications, new and upcoming technology and techniques related to the use of robotics and automation in EP.
Understand the benefits and limitations of robotics and automation in the current management of Ventricular and Atrial arrhythmias, including discussion of associated technologies that have been developed, and those that should be/need to be developed, in order to optimize contribution of robotics to the care of EP patients.
Understand the impact of robotics and automation and AI on the future of electrophysiology including issues surrounding adoption, facilitation of unique clinical approaches, and development of new related technologies.
