Know the indications and contraindications for implantation of an ICD for primary prevention of sudden cardiac death in patients with ischemic and nonischemic cardiomyopathy as well as other arrhythmogenic conditions (including channelopathies and other cardiomyopathies) and for secondary prevention of sudden cardiac death.
