Telehealth, Remote Patient Monitoring, and Virtual Disease Management for Atrial Fibrillation: Where do we go from here?
Description
This webinar, developed in partnership with the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association (PCNA) includes results from an early 2020 study conducted to understand the adoption of consumer wearable devices in clinical practice. This survey also analyzed level of clinician comfort in using data from these devices to make a virtual diagnosis. Also included is an expert panel discussion on the benefits and barriers to the adoption of telehealth for healthcare professionals and patients as well as strategies to mitigate barriers to adoption.

  1. Explain current utilization of telehealth and consumer wearable devices to improve patient access to appropriate care and ways to increase clinicial confidence with application in practice.
