How to Make Sense of Reimbursement and Ensure We Change the Future of Downward Cuts - The 2023 CMS proposed physician fee schedule again saw a marked decrease in reimbursement for SVT, AF, and VT ablation. After the bundling of procedures in 2022 and the subsequent decrease in 2023, HRS members are confused and frustrated. Understanding the role of HRS and ACC advocacy in the AMA RUC process along with how CMS determines rates will be instrumental.
